The Hithe Garden Party
Join us for painting, poetry, art, nature and activities in our flourishing community garden!
On Saturday 1st June The Hithe will open its doors to Rotherhithe locals of all ages for a day of creativity, nature, fun and community.
The Garden Party will be a chance for participants to showcase their work from our week of half term activities, for us to celebrate the huge achievements of The Hithe Community Garden's volunteer group, and to invite new people into the oasis of peace between Canada Water tube and Rotherhithe overground that is The Hithe. There will be food and drink, music, and activities for all.
Timings
2pm Doors open
2:30pm Poetry reading by workshop participants
3pm Participatory painting for all ages
4-6pm DJ and socialising
