The Heroes you have not heard of
Krio Descendants Union UK & Ireland are holding an evening of presentations, discussion, a fun quiz and food (some on sale) on Sierra Leonean heroes and heroines who contributed to Britain’s World War 2 effort. One hero was even part of D-Day whilst another who is currently alive at 101, entertained troops and saw some leave for D-Day. Come and meet some of their immediate descendants in this educational evening of untold stories. We hope the amazing centenarian will be able to attend.
