We are looking for young people aged 14-19 (up to 25 if you have Special Educational Needs) to stand as candidates for next years election.
The Southwark Youth Parliament, or SYP as it is normally called, are a group of like minded young people who come together to make sure young people's voices are heard in Southwark.
Whether it is running an enviromental campaign, making decisions on funding or even hosting a careers event, becoming an elected member of the SYP gives you access to fantastic opportunities.
Elections take place next March, so if you want to be involved then here is your chance.
We are holding a launch event on the 28th October where you can learn more about what it takes to be an SYP elected member, do some fun activities and hear from some of the last group of SYP about their experiences. To attend please click on the button below.
Don't worry if you cannot make it on the 28th, candidates have until the 14th December to register. Bookmark this page, follow us on social media and keep an eye out in your schools and colleges for details of how to register.
