London Youth Choirs

London Youth Choirs is a family of choirs for young people from school year 3 to age 23. The choirs meet once a week in term time, and perform regularly throughout the year across London and beyond. We have a dedicated choir for children in school years 3-6 in South East London, LYC South East; but anyone from year 3 to age 23 in South East London can also join one of our central choirs.

We exist for all of London’s young singers. Our citywide vision has always promised to deliver two things: musical excellence and social change. We work to remove barriers to access to ensure that everyone can take part, starting with FREE auditions to join. Meet the LYC choirs

A place to sing, a space to grow

We passionately believe that choir sets young people up for a better future. We support every member to develop their knowledge, aspirations, confidence, empathy, character – and a lifelong love of singing and music.

“It’s really exciting and you learn new skills, and I find that everybody there is my friend and my family.” - Jason

"LYC has given me back confidence I never knew I needed. It has introduced me to the best people I have ever met and taught me that it’s okay to be a choral music nerd. I look forward to every rehearsal all week and feel such a sense of belonging like I’ve never felt before.” - Lottie
