Youth and Play Activities in Southwark

An adventure playground, providing supervised play to young people aged 8-16, in a safe, but exciitng enviroment.

There are two tennis courts,  there are no floodlights, toilets, changing facilities or nearby water fountain. 

State of the art gym and swimming pools, and best of all Southwark residents have access to free swim and gym sessions in council-owned centres at certain times during the week.

Burgess Park Cricket Club formed in 1999.  They are a friendly, sociable and inclusive cricket club. The club moved to its present home in Burgess Park in 2003, where it now plays as part of the Kent Regional Cricket League.

Adventure Playground in Dulwich, open to all children aged 5-15 for free, supervised, open-access adventure play.

Each weekday after school from 3-6pm and during school holidays from 9-5pm. The playground is staffed by qualified and experienced play workers, supported by volunteers.

The BMX track at Burgess Park opened in August 2013 and is now the proud home of the Peckham BMX Club.

Art Block is a free, creative space on Sceaux Gardens Estate for local young people to connect, relax and express themselves. 

The Tigers offer an opportunity for all young people to learn the game of rugby for free. Join hundreds of other children from all across the borough every Sunday (August - April) at Burgess Park Community Sports Centre. Everyone is welcome.

Free holiday club activities young people aged 11- 16

Spring Up Youth Club is the perfect place to hang out after school for 11-to-14-year olds in and around Camberwell. It's free and runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. 

We have over 6 years experience working in Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Islington, Hackney, Camden, Tower Hamlets, Croydon and Lambeth.
